WILL Hires New Storyteller & Content Creator

The News: The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) has announced the newest addition to the Communications department—Katarina Velazquez, our Storyteller and Content Creator. Katarina will help modernize WILL’s communication efforts, enhance our digital presence, and help tell the stories behind our legal and policy work.

We are excited to have Katarina expand our communications capacity and help tell the stories of our clients and policy work.”

 

Background: Katarina Velazquez serves as a Storyteller and Content Creator at WILL. She is a Milwaukee native and earned her BA in Journalism and Media Studies, with a focus on broadcast from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

 

Prior to joining WILL, Katarina worked as a multimedia journalist and reporter first at WEAU 13 News in Eau Claire, WI and then Spectrum News 1 in Milwaukee, WI, where she dedicated her efforts to covering news across the diverse landscape of Wisconsin. She’s created compelling narratives through various multimedia platforms, including photography, video production, and graphics.

 

She currently resides in Milwaukee, where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
