Join AFP and WILL for a Twighlight Townhall to to learn the eye-opening truth about Wisconsin’s regulatory burden.

The guest speaker for this session is Senator Rob Hutton, who will share insights from the legislative front as we move into 2026. Senator Hutton is a co-author of AB 276 / SB 275, part of the Red Tape Reset Legislative Package, which aims to restore transparency and accountability in Wisconsin’s regulatory process.

This legislation, authored by Rep. Knodl and Sen. Hutton, ensures that state agencies may only promulgate one rule per scope statement, preventing agencies from quietly issuing multiple rules under a single vague notice. The reform strengthens public input, improves oversight, and reins in regulatory overreach.

Joining them is Lucas Vebber of the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, who will lead a focused discussion on the broader Red Tape Reset package and why these reforms matter for workers, families, and small businesses across Wisconsin.
