WILL Filing Sets off Flood of Groups Seeking PSC Declaration

On December 1st, the PSC agreed to open an investigation to determine whether city of Milwaukee taxpayers or utility company ratepayers throughout southeastern Wisconsin will have to pay the bill for relocating and reinforcing utility lines below the proposed trolley line.

Since then, a flood of utility companies and organizations representing ratepayers, municipal governments, and business groups have sought to join WILL and Brett Healy in demanding that this issue be resolved before proceeding with the project:

As of yet, the City of Milwaukee has not indicated whether or not it will voluntarily join in this action or sit by on the sidelines and wait to see what happens.
