January 2, 2018 – Milwaukee, WI – The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty announced the promotion of CJ Szafir to Executive Vice President.

WILL President Rick Esenberg: “I look forward to working with CJ to make WILL everything that it can be. As we’ve grown, managing the organization’s workload has become more of a challenge. CJ’s leadership has been and will continue to be an integral part of our success.”

“I am delighted to serve WILL as Executive Vice President and hope to continue advancing the cause of school choice, economic freedom, the rule of law, individual liberty, and constitutional government.  It is a blessing to work every day with the best and brightest in the conservative movement.”

Before joining WILL, CJ was a policy advisor to State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald in the Wisconsin Legislature.  He has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and law degree from Marquette Law School.  He received a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University.
