WILL Reacts to SCOTUS Parental Rights Ruling

WILL released a statement praising the U.S. Supreme Court’s (SCOTUS) 6–3 ruling in Mahmoud v. Taylor—a landmark parental rights case that confirms parents’ ability to challenge school curricula and potentially other school policies and practices.

WILL Statement on Wisconsin Supreme Court Rejecting Partisan Efforts to Redraw Congressional Maps

The News: The Wisconsin Supreme Court today declined to hear challenges seeking to redraw the state’s current congressional district maps, effectively ensuring the maps will remain in place for the 2026 midterm elections.

FBI Releases Manifesto of Nashville Shooter, Settles Lawsuit with WILL

WILL announced a settlement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on behalf of its clients, the Star News Network and journalist Matt Kittle of The Federalist. As part of the agreement, the FBI has released 120 pages of the Nashville shooter’s manifesto and agreed to pay WILL more than $86,000 in legal fees.

Judge Rules in Favor of Property Owners in Sister Bay Renters Case

A Door County Judge ruled that Captains Cottage LLC was wrongfully denied their short-term rental license by the Village of Sister Bay. The Judge’s decision establishes WILL's clients’ vested property rights and will serve as an important ruling for many Sister Bay property owners.

WILL Sues Trump Administration Over Discriminatory USDA Farmer Program

WILL sued the Trump Administration’s Department of Agriculture (USDA) over several discriminatory programs that deny financial assistance to farmers based on race and sex. WILL filed this lawsuit on behalf of our client, Adam Faust, a Wisconsin dairy farmer.

WILL Defends First Amendment Rights in SCOTUS Filing on Behalf of Family Counselors & Parents

WILL filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) in Chiles v. Salazar, a case challenging a Colorado law that censors counselors’ speech related to sexual orientation and gender identity. WILL’s brief supports the Petitioner’s argument that Colorado’s law violates the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Defending School Choice: WILL Secures Scholarships for Students with Special Needs

Following a brief legal battle, WILL recouped over $30,000 in scholarships from the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP), one of Wisconsin’s prominent school choice programs. WILL’s most recent win for school choice is on behalf of St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Oconomowoc, Wis., a nationally accredited member of the Wisconsin School Choice Program.
