Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty – While often called “the law firm of Wisconsin conservatives,” WILL has shown itself to be more than that in 2015. The past year has seen the organization at the center of education reform efforts in Milwaukee, Racine, and Madison; in addition to forcing MPS to sell underused buildings to charter and choice schools.
But the courtroom is where it has truly excelled, with briefs which led to the conclusion of the John Doe as well as numerous successful lawsuits ensuring school districts try not to skate on their compliance to Act 10.
