Zignego will lead fundraising and outreach efforts for growing law and policy center
May 20, 2016 – Milwaukee, WI – The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty announced today that it has hired Virginia Zignego as Development Director to engage in development and donor relations. Zignego will play an integral role in advancing the mission of WILL by developing donor strategies and increasing fundraising opportunities.
WILL is the law center for freedom in the state of Wisconsin. Since 2011, it has been counsel to the movement in the Badger State. WILL is a legal center and policy organization engaged in strategic litigation, advocacy, policy research and public education to advance free markets, individual liberty, constitutionally limited government and a robust civil society. Virginia will serve an essential role in engaging with like-minded individuals.
Prior to joining WILL, Virginia held a management role for Cathedral Consulting Group, LLC and assisted small and mid-sized companies and non-profit organizations in growing their enterprises. Virginia also worked with Pro-Life Wisconsin for five years as a Communications Director. As a native of Hartford, Wisconsin and an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Virginia is excited to work with issues that have a direct impact on Wisconsin.
“WILL has shown itself to be an innovator and a leader in the area of free market, enterprise and education. WILL’s strategic growth and the team I am working with made it an easy choice. I am excited to be a part of WILL and look forward to working with our donors and clients,” noted Zignego.
Rick Esenberg, President and General Counsel at WILL, said, “WILL has grown four-fold in as many years and with the addition of Virginia, we can continue to expand our original research and legal work capacity. Virginia will play an integral role in that continued growth and outreach.”
